Audi: A4 Countdown
Audi was having a BIG SALE on their A4 model. We created the A4 Countdown—a multi-channel campaign that would run over eight weeks to drum up excitement in all of the would-be could-be Audi owners in Canada.
These print ads would run for a series of eight weeks in newspapers and magazines throughout the country. We needed to not only communicate the size of the discount (large) but amount of time the discount was available (small).
Billboard
Getting ads in front of people as they drive their non-Audi cars on the way to work is a great way to remind them how little time they have left to get an affordable A4.
Web
We’d remind people how little time they had left to take advantage of the sale by putting a real-time countdown in their timelines and favourite sites.
Outdoor stunt
A larger-than-life egg-timer would live in downtown cores and countdown the final days of the promotion. When the A4 disappears, so does the deal.
Radio
What would a high-end car sale be without eight weeks of weird radio ads? Not that entertaining, that’s what.
