Friskies

Friskies wanted to grow their online presence, so we created a side-scroller game that could live on the Paws Way website. The game was fun and cute enough to appeal to cat owners and the broader demographic using the Paws Way site.

From the Friskies website, we used the existing banner and ad space to drive to the brand’s Paws Way profile page.

Other brands had profile pages on the Paws Way site, but none did it the way Friskies did it—with an engaging, fun, and colourful side-scroller game.

We positioned Friskies cat food as energizing and nourishing for our four-legged friends by using the cans as the item that “powered up” the cat in the game.

Once the player completed the game, they had the opportunity to share their scores with their social networks, which is something we know our demographic loved to do, especially on Facebook.
